Race Time (drama)

Dan comes in before everyone else and decides that Sally’s car has something worth stealing to help him win. He steals it from her car and puts in into his car, snickering at the kids all the way. He leaves and when the others get there they find out what happened and change it back around. He loses the race and can’t work out why. When the others go, he checks out his car and Sally’s and finds the joke’s on him. Cheaters never prosper!

Rambling (teaching time)

Story of Achan combined with a roleplay acted out by leaders.

Rap Up

Now, how did our teams go in the Wacky races again? Dan thought he could take what wasn’t his, it certainly backfired on him. He got off lightly this time, but if he doesn’t learn from this it might be worse the next time.

“R” word for the day

The “r” word for the day is:  RULES

When we break the rules, there are consequences, and there will be trouble always when we take something that it not ours. God places these Rules, guidelines in place in order for us to run the race really well.

Rule Card

Each week the kids receive a rule card. This reminds them of what they have learned each week. They can collect them all and you can give a prize to the kids who have them all at the end of term if you wish. You can choose to give these out at the end of the whole group time or in their small group times. You will find the masters to these cards in each weekly folder. Simply color print them off and laminate them for as many kids as you have.

Show the card on the power point and talk to it reminded them all the previous weeks as well.

Now it is time for us to go on the amazing RACE……..

Ready for the Amazing Race
