Bootcamp Chant
(As described in Week 1)
Each week there needs to be time set aside to worship God in song. It is a great way to start the time together and focus on God. Included in the package is a CD with 6 songs provided with vocals and/or backing tracks that follow on after the first 6 songs. The masters of the words to these songs are in Appendix F or in internet resources.

2. Shout it out (CD- Track 3/ Backing Track 9)
The challenge for the day was meant to be a 20 Km hike. As they get ready to go it becomes apparent that the real challenge is to be properly prepared for the walk ahead. Jack is not equipped with much, Sessal has too much and Sal is well equipped for the 20 Km hike to the other side of the mountains. (See Section 4 for Scripts and props needed)
Be Prepared Simulation (You set this up outside or somewhere where plastic can be put down. Set up the game area and then a place where the kids can sit and safely watch all that goes on.)
You will need:
• A leader - who will be the opponent in battle
• Water gun (high powered) - 2
• Plastic
• Towels
• Plate of cream
• Raincoats/ Rain Hat/ Gumboots/ Googles for a child
• A line OR Masking tape to show where the challengers must get to
• A dividing sheet / piece of plastic to divide to the challengers - that you can go up and down (even if two leaders hold it up at the end of each round and then drop it down for the battles.)
The challenge : To win the battle - To get over the line in the best state.
Aim : To be able to win you have to be prepared.

There are obvious battles when we are in God's Gang and there are subtle ones. Here are the tools that Jesus gave his disciples when He sent them out to tell others about Him. Have a look again at these things. Show OHP from Teaching Time.
I am going to give you a situation where there is abattle going on, things that might happen to us in everyday life....Put your hand up when you think you know which tool would be best to use, is this battle ever came your way. You need to tell me which one and how you would use it.
Battle 6:
Your older sister is taunting you to fight with her, she is angry and teasing you.
Q. Do you think these are spiritual battles? Why/ Why not?
Q. Do you believe that God can really make a difference?
Jesus does make a difference and so did the disciples. I know for my life that God has made a big difference and he is helping me fight even the small daily battles like the one we just talked about
