Tammy Tolman has been speaking and teaching for the past 20 years at major conferences such as Hillsong, MTC, IGNITE in Australia and Kidsreach and Unlimited Conference in New Zealand. She has taught workshops at CPC (Children's Pastors Conference) in the USA. She has taught and trained in Lebanon, Maylasia, Indonesia, United Kingdom and Cambodia. She has a diploma in Teaching and Degree in Theology.
She has written and produced teaching modules that covers the Bible in 4 years, consisting of 16 programs that run for 10 weeks each. They are aimed at the Primary Aged Child. They are interactive in style and teaching, and are used widely across Australia and New Zealand in all denominations as well as other countries.
She has produced 3 CDs of worship music, along with DVDs and videos that are also widely used. She is a practitioner who ministers in the local Church and in her local community on a weekly basis.
She trains leaders throughout Australia and beyond. She was instrumental in setting up the Children's Specialty at ACOM (Australian College of Ministry) which allowed people to train and study for a degree in theology with a major in Children's ministry. She lectures in this College and others. She is currently writing a 7 year curriculum for a ministry called "Transform Cambodia", which seeks to minsiter to 1000's of poor children and their families in the inner cities. She blogs regularly and has authored two books, "Piece By Piece" and "Collide".
She has been running camps at The Tops Conference Centre for children and young people for 27 years and leads a strong team that creates camping environments that are truly transformational for those who atttend. She also runs a leadership conference alongside the camp to allow people to learn and be stretched as leaders of children and their families.
She has been instrumental in birthing a intergenerational faith community south of Sydney, that seeks to do life together across the ages, to serve and grow more like Him in our everyday.
Tammy Tolman has been married for 27 years, to husband David Tolman. She and her husband began a company called “Spot the Difference” which has produced and promoted the curriculum that Tammy has developed over the past 25 years.
She has two children, Sam (male) aged 18 years and Georgia (female) aged 14 years. They live in Sydney, Australia.
